Jericho Project

Providing Housing and Life-Changing Services.

Jericho is a nationally-acclaimed nonprofit ending homelessness at its roots by enabling formerly homeless or at-risk individuals and families to lead independent lives. For over 33 years our supportive housing and comprehensive services advancing employment, wellness, and family stability have enabled thousands of homeless and at risk individuals to transform their lives for the better.

From our genesis in 1983 as a small housing program that helped homeless men and women move off the street, Jericho now provides over 400 units of supportive housing at our 7 residences in New York City, as well as life-changing services to over 2,000 vulnerable adults and children, including over 550 veterans.

Our Services

Jericho delivers programs that are targeted to the specific needs of our clients. These can include people who have been homeless for extended periods of time, people of all ages staying sober so they can keep their jobs and reunite with their families, families requiring stability and homeless prevention, or veterans seeking employment and wellness.
