Do you enjoy being part of a high-performing team? Do you enjoy having a structured process to follow? If so, a job as a Commercial Loan Assistant may be right for you.
As a Commercial Loan Assistant, you'll learn all the ins and outs of this part of the industry. You'll assist Commercial Loan Processors, Underwriters, and Officers in gathering information and documents. Commercial loans are loans a business takes out, rather than an individual. So you will likely be helping power small businesses. Your duties include assembling loan files and ordering credit reports. You may also make copies of property insurance and other documents and review loan documentation. You'll work with clients to collect all of the needed information to process the loan. Once you have all the information, you will prepare a report to give to a Loan Officer, Processor, or Underwriter.
To get this job you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent. You'll also need to be a detail-oriented person and be able to clearly communicate clearly. This role is a great stepping stone to other opportunities in commercial banking.
